Skate Early Access Launch and Roadmap Unveiled by EA

Electronic Arts announced that Skate will debut in early access on September 16, 2025 across multiple platforms. Each season will also add fresh skateable areas, challenges, brand partners, cosmetics, and soundtrack tracks, signaling EA’s commitment to expanding the multiplayer skating experience.

Early Access Launch

Electronic Arts confirmed that Skate will enter early access on September 16, 2025, available on a wide range of platforms. Early impressions describe the title as a "great game for just skating about or hanging out with friends," indicating strong focus on multiplayer social play.

Season 1 – October 21

The first season, slated for October 21, will introduce two seasonal events named Skate‑o‑Ween and 7‑Ply Maple Harvest, a Skate Pass, and a set of quality‑of‑life improvements. As with all seasons, new skateable areas, challenges, brand partners, cosmetics, soundtrack tracks, and bug fixes will be added.

Season 2 – December 21

Season two, arriving on December 21, brings a new co‑op game mode, two additional seasonal events, party voice chat, and new gameplay tricks such as Impossibles and expanded handplants. The update also includes enhancements to the replay editor.

Season 3 – To Be Confirmed

The third season’s details remain to be confirmed but are expected to feature leaderboards, open‑world collectibles, expanded character slots for tattoos, player‑created parts, new game modes, and further gameplay tricks like Darkslides and expanded footplants.
